Facilities in Dóchas don Óige

Jake Heenan Ambassador talking on the importance of Dóchas don Óige
“I guess just having some sort of educational environment provides opportunities so that when they want to do stuff, they can.
The other side of that is you want to give them a place where they feel safe and where they can express themselves and grow into themselves, so Dóchas don Óige is hugely important for that.”

And a second thank you to the Galway Children and Young Peoples Services Committee for additional funding for Counselling in Athenry, Gort and Connemara. This will make a big difference 🙏
And the result....we are delighted to extend Free Youth Counselling to new areas of Galway and to more young people 📣
Due to Covid-19 our experienced, qualified psychotherapists are seeing young people online until we can safely return to face to face sessions.
If you would like to book please contact Aisling on 📱 086 024 7763 or 📧 aisling.dermody@youthworkgalway.ie and remember you don't need a clinical (GP) referral.
The service is open to young people in Galway City and County aged between 12 and 21 years.
