Progression
Before the learner undertakes the specific training programme at Dóchas don Óige it is important for him/her to understand which progression routes are available on completion of the training programme.
For learners entering onto the FETAC Level 3 programme:
On successful completion of the course the learner will be in a position to apply to:
- progress on to
a FETAC Level 4 training course
- progress on to
GRETB course
- progress on to
an apprenticeship
- progress on to
employment
For learners entering onto the FETAC Level 4 programme:
On successful completion of the course the learner will be in a position to apply to:
- progress on to
a GRETB course
- progress on to
a FETAC Level 5 course (GTI, GCC etc.) which in turn could lead on to a FETAC
Level 6 course, GMIT or NUIG
- progress on to
an apprenticeship
- progress on to
employment
